POSITION OVERVIEW

 

Consumer Direct District of Columbia is seeking a people-oriented Administrative Associate to work in a dynamic yet fun and collaborative environment. In this important role, you will provide support in many office and program related capacities from greeting clients, auditing client files and providing phone support. Successful candidates will emphasize their ability to support individuals with disabilities and the elderly, and promote prompt, respectful and professional service. This position is well-suited for a candidate looking to gain experience at an entry level with strong aspirations for career growth in a rapidly developing company. WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Provide a positive, professional, empathetic and client-focused atmosphere
  • Clerical duties such as filing, data entry, operating multiple computer systems
  • Understanding and maintaining the rules of HIPAA for client confidentiality
  • Auditing files for quality and completeness
  • Assist with processing paperwork
  • Support clients with web-based applications
  • Communicate effectively via phone, E-Mail, and in person with Program Staff
  • Assist with payroll review processes and questions
  • High attention to detail and the ability to think creatively to solve problems
  • Communicates appropriately with supervisor on reports and administrative updates
  • Team player- ability to work in teams, are open and receptive to coaching and feedback, and provide feedback to others
  • General office duties and assisting where needed

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1 year administrative/quality assurance experience
  • Computer proficiency to include Microsoft suite, specifically Outlook and Excel and experience with Customer Relationship Management software preferred
  • Basic math skills
  • Must be able to successfully pass a background screening
  • Experience in Health Care field preferred; but not required
  • High School Diploma required
  • College education preferred, degree not required
  • District residency preferred
